Fruit Share

13 Weeks, May 31st/June 3rd through August 23rd/26th 2010 at six pickup sites in Nevada County.  $15.00 per week ($18.00 to Truckee).

NEW this year we have an even better value for our fruit share customers. The fruit shares will average 7+ pounds of fruit per week, and will be available for an even lower price this year. The fruit is grown by our friends at Chaffin Family Orchards in Oroville. We strive to provide you with the best local, certified organic, tree-ripened fruit, fruit with real flavor and character. This is fruit you will rarely, if ever, find in the store. Additionally, the folks at Chaffin will include a weekly newsletter with recipes, nutritional information, and farm news.

Food in the U.S. travels an average of 1,300 miles from farm to supermarket.  At Mountain Bounty Farm, the food is grown right close to your home and is picked fresh that day.
